Effective 18 April 2011, in conjunction with the implementation of replacement of Session Order with Day Order, please be informed that all unmatched orders (limit and market orders) entered during first session will be automatically carried forward by the Bursa Trade Securities (BTS) trading system and shall be considered as valid for whole trading day. Also, a single trading limit shall be applied for the whole trading day: 


Trading limit for New Listing including IPO:

Above RM 1.00 - Limit Up : 400%; Limit Down : 30%.
Below RM 1.00 - Limit Up : 400% or minimum 30 cents whichever is higher; Limit Down : 30% or minimum 30 cents whichever is higher.
Trading limit for Existing stock:

Above RM1.00 - Limit Up : 30%; Limit Down : 30%.
Below RM1.00 - Limit Up : 30 cents; Limit Down : 30 cents1
